I've tried disabling the borders on a ContentPanel with:

contentPanel.setBorders(false);
contentPanel.setBodyBorder(false);But the only way I can actually remove the border is by applying a css style with:

body: none;Any tips or is this a known bug?

Why everythign is always a bug? that does not make sense to me and as a software developer, you should not throw with words around like this.

I bet you have set frame to true(i cannot know this because you have not posted a testcase). With that set to true, you always get borders by design.

Without it, bodyBorder set to false works pretty good.

setBodyBorder(false) works well. I was using setStyleName() which apparently overrode the no-border style. Next time I'll post a test case, as you obviously couldn't see that I was using setStyleName().

All you have to do to hide borders of ContentPanel are:
panel.setFrame(false); panel.setBorders(false);
panel.setBodyBorder(false);
