hello

Ext.state.Manager.setProvider(new Ext.state.CookieProvider());

i've several problems with the state Manager :
- does it work in IE6? how? (i've tried an old solution in this forum but it doesnt work)
- Why this message in Firefox :
Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.
What can i do?

1. Only keep state for the components that actually need it.
Use:

Ext.Component.prototype.stateful = false;
and only configure components with stateful:true (and a stateId) if you need them to keep state.

2. If your application has too many components keeping state you can still exceed the maximum cookie size.
In that case you could consider switching to a HttpProvider (http://www.extjs.com/forum/showthread.php?24970-Buffering-Http-State-Provider).
