We solve this by using GWT and the so called code spliting whre you can load chunk of code at runtime. Not sure how this work in a pure JS world.
There is a license on each file saying that it s licenced under Apache 2.0.
But we also stated it on our opensource page : http://opensource.ahome-it.com/
I think what he ment is dynamically loading desktop modules based on the desktop example.
Well the Desktop example is not ment to be used on production apps. We ve learned it the hard way.
Time to move to a more suitable language ? :)
We did something similar for Java developers. Just make sure it is in sync with EXT JS license.
We open sourced the entire thing and gave it away for free (https://github.com/ahome-it/ahome-ext).
Another reason why we use Java on top of EXT JS. Free IDE support. No need to buy useless bundled stuff.

Personally I cant say if Ext JS/Sencha Touch is dying or not.
We use Sencha tools because we are building a quit complex web platform and we believe Ext JS/Sencha Touch are the only JS framework...
It s more of the communication layer inside a more bigger platform. We are working hard on getting the beta out and share it with the world.
Almost there :)
What do you people think ? :)
Well I dont know what you mean by a "Google Product".
GWT has always been Open Source with Apache 2. Otherwise I dont think Sencha would have GXT.
Only difference now is that People outside...
True. But Google is still a very active member of that commitee. Matter of fact most of the new great stuff coming into GWT are coming from Google engineers. The team behing GWT might be smaller now...
This is totally wrong informatons about GWT. And for someone working for a company that actually has a GWT based product you should know better.

I m no longer working on Touch4j.
The new library is Ahome-Touch: http://opensource.ahome-it.com/#ahome-touch

We just added Screensharing capabilities to the platform. Gotta love Ext JS :)

We just upgraded to Ext 5 and I must say it was very smooth and easy compare to upgrading between 4.x versions.
Also we do have a layer of abstraction on top of Ext JS and Sencha...
Now well that s the point. It should nt be hard. Or require ninja skills. Plus you never open sourced that code :)
Overall I think Famous is taking stuff to another level.
But Famous and...

For an existing application it will be as simple as uploading a zip containing the icons and the url to your application .
Below is how it could look. Hope you like it :)
