  1. Is it possible to have a controller intercept an event? Making assumptions here, but I'm guessing the controller uses event delegation to bind listeners, which means a buttons "handler" will fire...
  2. Is this alos a viable solution?

    Ext.util.Observable.on('click', function(context, event, options) {
  3. Actually, one more quick question - delegate refers to a DOM selector, is there an option or a way to have delegate use ComponentQuery instead?

    It would be easy enough to bake that myself, just...
  4. Had not seen the delegate argument, that is perfect - thanks!
  5. Does such a thing exist or will I need to roll my own?

    Description: Attach an event handler for all elements which match the current selector, now and in the future.
  6. Found a workable solution, but it seems a bit odd.

    windowRef.getEl().shadow.setOpacity(0); // hide
    windowRef.getEl().shadow.setOpacity(50); // show

    I'd rather be able to call the shadow's...
  7. Still have a problem, however. Once a shadow is disabled, you can no longer enable it?

    Maybe there is a better way togo about this?
  8. Nevermind;

    very simple.
  9. Not sure why I am having trouble with this, but what is the preferred way to programmatically show/hide a window's shadow?

    I'd like to slideIn a window, but the shadow doesn't properly follow so...
  10. How about the reverse? I could really use a nested list interface for a desktop app.

    I've got dynamic controller loading by doing the following: = function(classPath, config) {
    var self = this,
    config = config || {};
  12. Does this error look familiar to anyone? Having a serious noob moment getting sass configured.

    Mr--Awesome:wwwroot joe$ sass --watch touch/sencha-touch-1.0.1/resources/sass/fw.scss:skin/cffw.css...

    its only taken this long because I started over, I'm happier with this version. Here is a quick screen shot, I should be done in the next week or so and I'll release it to the community.
  14. Still not sure exactly what is going on here, but I found this; it would seem that Ext.onReady is just fine and that possibly the latest version of Chrome is the only browser effectively reporting...
  15. Ext.EventManager.onDocumentReady is firing before the body element is in the DOM in the latest Chrome build.

    no elements...

    It looks like there is enough interest to do it, but it may be a little while, I'm in the middle of a big push at work.
  19. Yes. Your client script is sending the value "%5B%7B%22oid%22%3A11215216568%2C%22" which if decoded properly is a JSON object with the property "oid" and the value "1234". I suspect you may not have...
  20. You are going to need to encode "recordsToSend" into a string (Ext.encode). Your server component will then need to take parameter "courses" and use a JSON library to decode the value (an encoded...
  21. I'm only posting to see if there was a follow up. I just hit this problem as well, removing a grid from an accordion layout, I implemented the same fix.
  22. all getFormattedValue is doing right now is a call to jsStringFormat for escapes.

    I have a theme for our companies applications platform and was considering tightening it up and making it available. Let me know if you are interested.

  24. I didn't get back to post what the problem was. As far as I can tell it isn't possible to upload file directly to a cfc, I didn't investigate far enough to know exactly why not. I just created a...
  25. Somebody might find this useful. I use these function to dynamically convert CF8 query objects into JSON data store configs, complete with fields that have the correct data types. I have only used...
