  1. We have a related issue in Ext 3.4 (!!!) where tbar's fail to render at all. The posted CSS fixes it if you use tbar instead of bbar.

Why isn't this closed yet? It's a 2 year old issue...
  2. Title says it all. The radio group gets submitted as true or false, no matter what values are in the specific radio buttons. See details here.

From the diff between 3.3.0 to 3.3.1 it looks like all it is is a bunch of very, very minor changes and the addition of Ext.Loader (

  4. The one true firefox :-) (3.6.10)
  5. I might as well be crystal clear, Ext 3.2.2
  6. Latest ext, prototype 1.6.1 and more importantly, a new piece of information entirely:

it only breaks when NATIVE json stuff is turned on, so //Ext.USE_NATIVE_JSON = true; fixes it. Good enough...
  7. Yeah, that would be great, I just put it here in the hopes that I was wrong :-/
  8. I would love it if I were wrong about this, but I think I found a bug in the prototype adapter. Here's my testcase (which you guys should probably just add to your testsuite):
  9. Still hoping that sencha will fix this by the way.
  10. Sounds like you guys need to implement roles with Joose :-)

Or just suck it up and use MI.

    Hello All!

Where I work we used xtypes for a long time the way that Ext do; shorter, lowercase names with _'s. Of course xtypes are also a performance boon and not just for nicer names. We...

I work in the same shop as nathan and pretty much agree wholeheartedly. Ext is great for complex user interfaces. I haven't worked on a project yet where graceful degradation was an issue, but I...

Ok, this is really weird. I've never seen this happen with ext before. I get the following exception whenever I try to save a form that doesn't have a url set:

Just wanted to say that the original plugin works great with Ext 3 SVN.
  16. Thanks Evan. Normally these load into a layout themselves, not windows.

Thanks also for the pointers on getting it to work. I would like to point out though that I don't see this mentioned in...
  17. I just checked out and it still has the issue, which, to be clear, is that it doesn't stretch an hbox, and nesting them just doesn't display the nested one.
  18. Here's a super basic showcase. Run it and there will be two windows (drag them to see both) and what I am saying should be clear. Some things don't stretch correctly, and other things don't even...
  19. Ok, if I change those grids that you mentioned to panels I get pretty much the same issue. Not displayed at all with hbox, and with columnfit they don't stretch to fill correctly.
  20. Good call saki, although after changing that the results are exactly the same.
  21. Hey guys!

I hope you all are having/had a great weekend!

I just ran into an issue with hbox/vbox (quite likely to be my own code failings :) ).

Anyway, here is my original code:

  22. Excellent, this certainly seems to work. I have a different bug now, but I'll post that in a separate thread. Thanks!

Very cool! Another debug dialect I've seen is

    ;;;more code

As many minifiers will treat that as debug code.
  24. Well, it seems to magically work when two grids are at the bottom :)

Ok. Sounds like HBox wasn't quite what I'd expected. Switching back to ColumnFit.
