Crashes every time upon startup no matter what.
Running: Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.4 (Tikanga)
32-bit runs file so I'm set, but if you need to test other builds let me know.
Latest Linux version cores at startup every single time. (Previous version worked just fine.)

I realize that rewriting my code to use 'hide' may be more efficient, but it would also complicate my code.
But is there a fix for this that doesn't require me to do so?

Setting it to non-editable does not make it appear disabled. Here is a workaround that does.

I've got the same problem. Calling setDisabled(true) on an Ext.form.ComboBox, makes it disappear on IE8. Commenting out the call, and the component does not disappear. Works fine for Firefox.

Yesterday I got an e-mail from Jodi saying I had to provide my own transportation from the airport to the Ritz. The suggested shuttle van charges $60 per person each way. Seems a little steep.

In my case I am having the user enter a password in two different fields. A blank second field is only valid if the first field is blank as well. One could also set the allowBlank on the fly
