No official statement from Sencha but seems that development on SA is stalled.
Seems that most if not all SA team left Sencha.
First the license change.
Now SA seems abandonware...
I love ExtJS but seems that they want me to go to another framework...
ASP.NET combines model data then renders HTML = server side rendering.
ExtJS is mean to be one page application using components via JS code. ASP.NET has nothing to do here unless you use it to...
I have a couple of middle sized ExtJS 4.2 applications (80+ views, 50+ controllers, 60+ models, 75+ stores) which I can maintain very well with SA.
Without SA would be a NIGHTMARE!

Seems nobody... :(
Didn't you noted he asked TODAY?
Rest my case.
I asked on SA forums and NOT OFFICIAL RESPONSE YET.
I asked for an official statement of SA future but haven't got any so you can make your own guess...
He should change his/her name from AjaxSolutions to AngularHater :p
Nope, just name coincidence.
Nevertheless thanks for your quick response.
And the plugin for eclipse when?

That would be sad...
I cannot imagine writing UI code by hand again!
Perhaps SA is not economically viable?
Too few licenses sold?

An official statement of direction from Sencha would help.
If SA will get into a corner as abandonware now is the time to switch to another framework / tool.
Writing UI code by hand is counter...

I have been in this business for 3 decades, perhaps more time than your age.
I saw systems, frameworks, products, languages, etc. come and go.
What maybe is happening is that...

Do you know if you current ExtJS 4.x app will work with ExtJS 7?
You are really annoying!

What an app!
At least you didn't said "examples"!

I wonder if Sencha has some public or internal apps done with ExtJS.
Do they eat their own dog food?

You really don't understand, isn't?
You can continue using AngularJS 1.x, nothing forces you to move.

They (developers) can keep working on AngularJS 1.x
Legacy SW maintenance is part of the job description.
At the company I work for we still maintain JSF 1.1 applications running on JEE...
