  1. I've just found this in production.

ExtJS 4.1 and Mac OSX with Chrome 22.0.1229.94

The trick is to get the request to timeout while receiving data, not while waiting or connecting.
  2. Ext version tested:

    Ext 4.1.0

    Browser versions tested against:

    Chrome 20.0

Metachange is fired multiple times (+1 for each load)

Is it possible to get this working with infinite scrolling / paging? Or will you run in to other problems?

Congratulations! I can't wait to give it a try :)
  5. No one from Sencha is willing to reopen this bug report? One person could not reproduce the bug and it got closed and won't reopen even though it has been confirmed on all platforms (linux, osx,...
  6. @tvanzoelen Just to be clear; the bug is not related to the window. I first noticed this when hiding a column in a grid - without flash < 500ms with flash in tab + 5000ms. This is in Firefox 8 with a...
  7. Can @mitchellsimoens or someone please re-open this one til we have a confirmation that this is not a ExtJS-related problem. This is really killing my application right now as we see such an enormous...
  8. Dojo doesn't seem to be affected in the same way. Dojo goes from 1086ms to 1130ms with a very heavy flash application.
  9. @tvanzoelen, then we should be able to see this behavior in pure javascript code?
  10. @tvanzoelen, if you run the test code along with an ExtJS application the performance drops even further.
  11. I've just confirmed this on Windows 7 aswell, this affects Centos 5.4, OSX Lion and Windows. Please don't be so fast to close it.

    Please run the code in...

  13. @skirtle - I confused you with an Sencha employee, my bad!

I've tried to find an official date for the 4.1 release, but haven't found one? Where can I find such information?
  14. @skirtle, I have to say that I feel a bit surprised on how you respond to customer's concerns on bad performance in ExtJS 4. Is the general opinion from Sencha that we should go out and monkey-patch...

    I agree!

But AbstractStore has no getRecords method and TreeStore doesn't implement one, that's the problem.

As AbstractStore is abstract I see the point in not implementing getNewRecords, leaving it to the sub-classed to do it. Having the sub-classes Store and TreeStore to implement this...

    Hi everyone,

I've tried to search for this one but haven't found anything useful in ExtJS 4 - neither user extensions nor discussions. So I'd like to pick up the topic here.

    I want to be able...

  21. Thank you very much for trying to help and providing some sample code! I will write some myself next time I have a question.

Hoping for a fix in Ext JS 3.1 then :)
  22. Hi, this is my fist thread here at the Ext JS community forums. I've tried google and searching this forums but I couldn't find anything to help me on this one:
