I would go with Chrome heap profiling first. Take a heap snapshot when your app starts up, then take actions that cause memory consumption growth (open panels, load grids, etc), and take another heap...
  3. Most of our accessibility testing is done against JAWS and NVDA in Firefox; we also test JAWS and NVDA with IE. Microsoft Narrator is not supported at this moment.

I believe this is due to the fact that the fix was merged into 5.1 first before releasing 5.1.1, and was merged to 6.x branch after the doc was generated.

It's beta for docs as well as the code....
  6. Because there was a lot of improvements to focus management in Ext JS 5.0.1+, and especially in 5.1. Ext JS 4.x never tried to do it right, and focusing widgets was a hit or miss proposition.

    In...

  8. Unfortunately this patch will not fix the issue in all browsers Ext JS has to support. I did some research on this issue and there appear to be a number of discrepancies in focus event handling...

I'm not aware of any such plans at the moment but in the end, who knows.

You see, one of the problems in this discussion is that you are trying to attach emotionally loaded epithets to something that has no relation to emotion. By calling Ext JS DOM footprint "chubby" and...

As I said, Ext JS does not produce bloated DOM. We render only absolutely necessary number of elements to achieve our goals, and nothing more. Due to the flexibility and feature richness our DOM...

I often see people perpetuatiating the myth that Ext JS produces bloated DOM structure because it has to support legacy browsers. In fact there are two myths here: that DOM is bloated and that it's...

  16. You can use boxready event for that. This event is fired as soon as the component has been laid out for the first time, and at this point you can assume that the component's parent is also laid out...
  17. I think Cmd packages is what you need: http://docs.sencha.com/cmd/5.x/cmd_packages/cmd_packages.html

  18. SebTardiff,

It's just a way to organize codebase. When you share some common code between different frameworks (Ext and Touch) you can either copy the base classes and make specific adjustments to...

PollingProvider never supported using plain JavaScript functions as pollFn. You need to use a Direct method stub instead, or an URL.

This is something that used to work by accident, not a bug.

  22. @springfield,

Not sure why you need the override. DirectSubmit action supports metadata by default, just set the "metadata" property on the form and it will be sent along with the form submission....
  23. Sridhar,

Honestly I never tried it with 5.x but theoretically it should work. There were not many changes to the legacy charts since 4.x days.

    Alex.
  24. This feature is called Actionable mode and it was not yet supported in Ext JS 5.1.0. Stay tuned for updates. :)

  25. Hi agarapati,

Regarding the first issue: ariaLabelledBy and ariaDescribedBy properties should contain valid DomQuery selectors for finding the elements that label or describe the given component,...
