  1. Access to the nightly builds allows development to proceed with out having to write overrides to continue. It also allows one to check to see if the bug was really fixed in your own situation.

  2. Just ran into needing 'labelAlign' setter on form.FieldContainer.

Mostly the ones who worked on Architect.

I did not use v3 so I did not notice the performance hit. My applications respond fine but are simple uses of ExtJS tied to other code for maps.

    I do...

I'm guessing the devs have no status with the investors in Sencha.

I've had no contact with those pictured. Only with the devs, mostly those who have left Sencha, who actually know how the code...
  5. @evant Thanks for that example. While I have not done as much doc reading as I should, that is the 1st example of the use of the view model which opened my eyes as to how to use it.

    I'd like...

    Mitchell,

I'm not questioning you or your comments. I appreciate that you respond on the forum. Communication here is important.

I'm just commenting on Sencha's slow response to bugs....
  7. According to Mitchell in this post

    https://www.sencha.com/forum/showthread.php?299675-5.1.1-Update&p=1096066&viewfull=1#post1096066

You call 5.0.1 a maintenance release. And thus 5.1.1 will be a maintenance release? Why are there over 200 fixes in 5.1.1? Why did you not have 5.1.1 and 5.1.2 and 5.1.3 ... on to 5.1.10 or more?...
  9. It seems that the answer to the question in the title is given here:

For that reason alone I wish we could have more frequent bug releases.

Fix a few and release them. The sooner and more frequent the better!

We want just want code which works properly. :D

I agree. Bug fix releases should be small and just fix bugs. Smash the bug and give us the fix. We want code which works properly.

    I think that 5.1.1, 5.1.2, 5.1.3 ... 5.1.14 ... should have been...

We sure would like to see regular (monthly?) bug fix releases!

Squash those bugs and give us a good product.

I like this post! While we small developers hate the licensing change, most of us like the product. This is a positive post with requests and concrete ideas. More of this would be refreshing.

I hope Architect stays around a while. I use it mostly as an editor as the visual part crashes with every added override or ux. I just like having the configs available. I'll have to try the new...

Whoa! I've been plastering that around the forum for the last couple of of weeks now!

Regular releases of bug fixes are needed. Over 200 in the latest nightly EXTJS 5.1 and none released in a GA...
  21. Yes, and I'll start making a list as I run into them again.

I'd really prefer that all config items in a component have a setter.

I do understand that setting some configs after...
  22. I tried to set the header in 'responsiveConfig' on a Panel and got 'Uncaught Error: Config "header" has no setter on class'.

  23. Nightly builds are beta software and not usable for production releases.

When is v5.1.1 going to be released?

Or is there an override for this fix which works for v5.1.0?

    I'd prefer the...

This can be done using a "box" layout. See the docs for this layout. "hbox" and "vbox" are subclasses of the "box" layout class.

    In your panel use:

    layout: {
    type: 'box',
    pack:...
