  5. Both editors will show syntax like the one OP has for sure. Unfortunately there are way more other errors that those IDEs would nt catch that static analysis would catch right away.
    When I was using...

Now well You are right. They are more than "marketing releases".
I think that opinion came because we dont use none of those features and we figured how to use Ext and Touch in the same project...

Ext5 and Ext6 are some marketing releases anyway. Dont see any added value there.

Just look at how many people from the community are building extensions and so.

Time to move to a more suitable language ? :)
  13. We did something similar for Java developers. Just make sure it is in sync with EXT JS license.
We open sourced the entire thing and gave it away for free (https://github.com/ahome-it/ahome-ext).
  14. Neat :)

Another reason why we use Java on top of EXT JS. Free IDE support. No need to buy useless bundled stuff.
  16. We are building a really complex web platform with Ext JS. I hope to share that soon.
    Stay tuned :)

GWT has always been Open Source with Apache 2. Otherwise I dont think Sencha would have GXT.

Only difference now is that People outside...
