  1. Thanks Don.I just created another new project and changed the app name to "Todo" from "ToDo" and things seem be working as expected now. Could there be an issue with case-sensitivity?
  2. Hey,

    I've just started playing with Ext 6 and am hitting a bit of a brick wall on one of the first hurdles. I think it must be something obvious but I'm not able to figure it out.

    I have...
  3. Hi all,
    I just wanted to let you know about a new free email course - Best Practices for Improving your Sencha Apps - that I have just released. The course delivers 7 daily lessons on how to improve...
  4. Thanks for the response. Yes, if you could create a feature request for me that would be great.ThanksStuart
  5. Hi,

    I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with excluding image folder (e.g. datepicker, editor, tree etc) from the build outputs of an Ext JS application.

    Basically our application...

    You could just include all your validation logic in the controller in one big method, or split across a number of them. You would probably be able to use the validator logic that Models use.
  7. Hi Evan,

    Thanks for the insight and quick response. I'll work around it for just now until the 5.1 update is released.

  8. Hi,

    I've come across an issue with filtering an associated store which results in a "Maximum call stack exceeded" error.

    You can reproduce the error by opening the "Loading Nested Data Example"...
  9. I'm also hitting this bug. Is there a patch/override we can apply while we wait for 5.1 to be released? Is there any news on when 5.1 might be released (even a Q4 2014 or Q1 2015 would be good)?
  10. Hi,

    I have a package which includes various models and one override to the class. My package structure is as follows:

    - MyPackage
    - overrides
    - data
  11. I think you have to explicitly include a separate plugin for console.logs to show up in XCode. Try this one -, it...

    The Ext JS 4.0 CDN also seems to be down just now - It was working a couple of hours ago however.Is there any news on this ticket?
  13. You might want to take a look at packages ( it's an Ext JS guide but the principles are the same I think).

    Using packages means you can...
  14. Hi,

    I'm just starting an Ext JS 5 upgrade from 4.2 and have hit a problem with an override I have, adding some static methods to the Model class. The basic code is below:

  15. Refs can't have itemIds in them. I'm not sure of the reasoning for this but that's the way it is. If you really want to target using itemIds you could use the property syntax like [itemId="myItemId"]
  16. Hi Phil,

    Thanks a lot for your reply.

    I updated the package's sencha.cfg file with "package.sass.namespace=MyPackage" (rather than "Ext" like it was before). Rebuilding the package and the app...
  17. Yea, I missed out the super class call. You should be able to use the this.callParent(arguments) call to be a bit shorter.The problem is that the Ext.define call is happening in the global scope and...
  18. You could add the event handler in the initComponent method using the 'on' method of the store so that you can scope the handler function to the Grid and not the Window.

  19. Hi all,

    I have a simple Workspace set up with an App and one Package. The package has one controller and one view. The view has a SCSS file associated with it located in the 'sass/src' folder...
  20. By updating the quantity in the record the list with automatically refresh to display the new values and so will redraw the images and potentially reload them. Perhaps you can look into caching the...
  21. I don't think it's possible right out the box but you can integrate the Camera class which should talk to the native camera.!/api/Ext.device.Camera
  22. Your reference to 'Araripina.view.TabPrincipal' is the classes name and not an instance of the class. You also can't use this in your 'up' call as this isn't its alias (or xtype).
  23. The controller still doesn't have a 'push' method:

    Ext.define('Araripina.controller.PrincipalCtrl', {
    extend: '',
  24. You're into your event handler now so the handler is attached correctly. Now the issue is the use of 'push' method which doesn't exist in your controller class.
  25. I meant replace the ComponentQuery selector in the controller. Try something like:

    config: {
    control: {
    "button": {
    tap: 'onMybuttonTap'
