I would have never thought about this scenario. And it make sense. Now I can understand why Sencha did it. Not that I support the change but at least it makes sense now.

The main problem is that we wouldn't have to wait until April to get a response, If Sencha responded here (as any respectable company would) everything would be fine.

Are these checkboxes wrapped in some panel? If so, try styling panel instead of them. Better yet remove wrapping panels altogether.One more thing to check is page zoom. Make sure it is at 100% and...
