  1. Obviously you've never bought a pack of hot dogs and tried to find a package of buns to match the count.

I also think Sencha should give us free ice cream.
  3. If Angular is so great then why are you posting on a Sencha Forum?
  4. The idea isn't "time". It's consistency and direction. The DHTMLX api was not consistent across components whereas it was possible to see a direction with EXTJS and consistency. Sorry I couldn't give...
  5. Looked at dhtmlx about 5 years ago. Inconsistent api. Bugs. Don't do it.
  6. Just to let you know, these workarounds are fine for the version of EXTJS which we're using (4.2.2). However, disappearing submenus occur in 6.0.2 and it doesn't matter which browser you're...

...and the link provided does nothing to help me identify the replacement for the Premium forum.

I don't see the premium forum anymore. Did I miss something?

Every time there is a post people try to turn the thread into a "Sencha is charging us too much" tangent. I challenge anyone here to find another vendor that has the component library that Sencha...

Well, yes, in an ideal world the smaller the load the better. However, we do use the YUI Compressor stuff that does shrink the loads. But once your library is loaded then who cares? For us it isn't...

We use "uses" versus "requires" and concat our own class files thus eliminating the need for CMD for builds. If we used "requires" we'd get errors, but "uses" seems to be more run-time so once it's...

Really? Angular + DHTMLX? I reviewed DHTMLX and implemented a complex reproduction of an existing system using that and EXTJS. DHTMLX does NOT have a consistent API. Although it was several years ago...
  17. I doubt you'd have to incorporate. Just have a side agreement and have one person purchase the licenses. As far as Sencha is concerned they've sold 5 licenses to 5 developers. End of story.
  18. I am using IE 11. Perhaps my problem.
  19. I've been coding EXTJS since 2008. However, one of the biggest pet peeves I have is finding syntax errors. I'm using RAD 9.5 (Eclipse) and the editors don't tag missing brackets, attributes, etc....
  20. Hi, we're deploying these to our sales force. It's one of those Windows 10 hybrid/tablet laptops (touch).

    On these laptops the...

I know Sencha used aliases for their classes when migrating for 3.x to 4.x. We use them for shorthand. It's possible you can extend those classes then just use your own alias. But if that's the only...

tgk121 Thanks for the feedback. Very helpful. I'll follow the progress of the eclipse (RAD for us) plugin.

Why upgrade when there's a bunch of stuff we don't use? We won't be doing this just for a plugin after years of successful development with EXTJS.

From looking at the JetBrains plugin on your website it doesn't seem to be an independent item that can be ordered, but is bundled with various levels of EXTJS. As an existing, legacy, customer I'm...
