  1. It was a real WTF moment for me ..
  2. :D You're very gracious. Thanks.
  3. I had my wife check the test page (on a MBP) and it works properly!

So I set about repeating my original debugging steps of disabling all my add-ons
    and plugins .. nothing worked.

    I finally...
  4. Ext version tested:

    Ext 3.1.1

    Adapter used:

  5. I'm more convinced this is a regression.

The above test works properly on Safari 4.0.4 and the latest Chrome beta (5.0.307.7).

Further, I fired up the Wine-bottler packaged IE7 and IE8.

  7. Totti,

Thanks for the suggestion, but that's not the trick, at least in FF 3.6 on my mac.

You say "supposed" .. where did you find this?
  8. I cannot replicate that. Either declaratively or installed post-creation.
FF still shows its context menu.
  9. Handle a contextmenu event w/o the browser showing its contextmenu.
  10. Edit: still the case under 3.1.1

I've spent a bunch of time now searching the archives for instances where
e.stopEvent is simply ignored, and found quite a few, but nothing exactly like this.
  11. I just found this bug yesterday. It's been so long since FF and IE disagreed w/in Ext that I was sure it was me ...

Luckily, in my case, the trigger needn't be hidden :)

Anyone else find this, in particular, hilarious ... ??

  13. If you say so, but I disagree (even as I understand what you mean).
2.2 is a cornucopia of good things, but this is clearly a gap.

I thought he was "fully functional"?

    :-? :D
  15. The problem with the latter approach will be scope.

If you are wrapping your app in an onReady anonymous function (which you should be),
logout() will not be found at time of invocation...

    This is a good idea.

I agree w/Brian's point about the frequency of releases vs size of Ext,
but a sticky that references patches or other code that could be applied
in the interim is a real...

You will have to adapt the TreeNodeUI to process your data,
and plug in the desired links. Check out the column tree example
to see how each "row" is actually assembled and it should be clear.
  18. Thanks.

  19. Any chance you could let those users whose accounts were compromised know?

the grid doesn't appear for me on IE7.
    FF2 works fine.

    Just an FYI and atta-boy!
  21. Do you also advocate namespacing the augments to Function, Number and String?

  22. :))

  23. With respect, get over yourself.

While I certainly agree that the Ext docs are superior (like you I'm amazed at the grousing), this doesn't make sense.

With a reasonable index, client-side searching would be quite tractable.
