  1. Both viewModel and controller are configs, so each view can be configured dynamically with a different viewModel or controller.
  2. Not all fiddles work. This one doesn't work.

Can you just use the browser tabs?

Tab switching is slow in Ext JS, so this is probably the key reason why document tabs were removed. The new docs application is now much faster and it's easier...
  5. The Ext JS grid is very scalable. Did you say before that you can handle only 800 rows? This is not a very impressive number. Even the free jqGrid can handle thousands of rows.

The main document tabs are gone, so you will need to rely on your browser tabs.

The new docs app looks a lot cleaner and it's noticeably faster.

    Ext...
  8. Regressions can happen in any complex software. Sencha usually fixes a large number of bugs in new releases, but then they invariably introduce a few new ones.

I use Sublime Text 3 as my editor. ...
  9. This is probably the most compelling point in favor of Ext JS.

    No dependencies no drama
  10. Nope, the entire column is highlighted as you mouse over, not just a row as in Ext JS.

  11. This is a configuration option which when set highlights grid columns as you mouse over the grid.

Click the pricing link. The grid with prices has this option set,
  12. Good basic grid. It has a column trackOver which is not available in Ext JS(?)

Using D3 & Data Visualization in Ext JS

Available in Ext JS 6.2, not in 6.1?
  14. Thanks Mitchell, I'll definitely sign up for the Webinar. I was trying to find out how useful the Sencha Themer could be to a JS developer.
  15. Do you have more details about Sencha Themer at this time?

Sencha should use their experience and deliver a set of components that would natively integrate with Angular 2 and React. The would be similar to the Kendo UI initiative.

Near term roadmap - Ext JS 6.1

  21. Got it! But, I'd still consider this as a doc improvement issue.
  22. I'm note sure if I understand. Ext.grid.column.Action is a container, so I should be able to use its initItems method as on any other container. However, when I use the initItems method the...
  23. This should be fixed now, thx.
  24. Fiddle Demo

The Ext.grid.column.Action class ignores calls to the initItems method.

Change the xtype to my_column_action2, and then the column actions will be visible.

    The Action constructor...
