  1. Do you know if there is any system built out to automate the refactoring of the code (from 2->6)?
  2. I don't think that the Ext.field.DatePicker has onExpand
  3. Unfortunately that doesn't quite work in the 'Modern' framework. It does set the value, but for some reason that doesn't make it to the picker when it is rendered.
  4. Guys,

    Is there a way to set the a default value when the user clicks field and the field appears to default to default to a date (without setting a value for that field)

    Thanks
  5. Guys,

    I used to be able to do simple form validation in the Sencha Touch by creating a model as follows:

    Ext.define("Data.model.Base", {
    extend: "Ext.data.Model",
    fields: [{

    But in your fiddle the config is still undefined when it comes into the constructor. Is that just not pulling in the config?

    Sure, here's a link: https://fiddle.sencha.com/#fiddle/11oi

    Open your console and take a look at the output of config.

    When I use Ext.Base config is still undefined. Seems to me that this is a bit of a bug (regardless of whether or not I should be using this or not).

    Guys,

    If I already have an id property in my model definition, is there a way to keep it from being overridden by the new process for setting an id in the load process?

    Thanks

    Guys,

    I've got this singleton class that I'm using as a global object. I'm running into an issue, however, when I try to call the constructor, the config comes in as undefined.

    Thoughts?

  12. Guys,

    I was wondering if the 'upgrade' functionality in the CMD actually refactors the code to make the adjustments needed for the 2x code to work in the new framework?

    Evan,

    Thanks. I see, it makes sense to not default it if it's a memory leak. That said, just out of curiosity if I want to override the Ext.data.reader.Reader.readRecords to do an inception...

    Guys,

    I know that the rawData is a private member of the Reader class in 2X Touch, but is there an equivalent in 6x?
  15. Has this issue been resolved?
  16. J,

    Guys,

    I was under the impression that I could define a background color using the style attribute of a Ext.Button, however, every time I try I can't seem to get it to stick. Is there an reason...
  19. I was able to get the load to work by adding the object that I call in the 'launch' method to the 'requires' array.

    requires:['Main.view.desktop.Main'],

  20. Rkasim,

    What was the exact fix you used to resolve the issue. I'm having similar issues in the IPad. Thanks.
  21. I'm using Sencha 2.4.2 on CMD 5.1.3.61 and I'm runing into an issue where it won't start on my IPad running IOS 8.4.1

  22. Guys,

    Rather then setting the label width, is there a way to set the size of the checkbox input and have the label width take up the remaining width. I always find it odd when you resize a form...
  23. Guys,

    I've got an small Sencha 2.4.2 web app (under 500K compressed) which seems to take a long time (upwards of 40sec to load the app). Anyone else run into this on that Galaxy Note 3? Other...
