Posts now requires mod approval?
Why do my posts now require moderator approval before showing up? Is this some new policy or something wrong with my account? Sorry if this is not the right place to post this, but I could find no other place.

That's interesting. Maybe it's forum specific? This post showed up immediately, but a post I made earlier to the Ext:Help forum, indicated that it needed mod approval. Is this expected behavior?

All posts are sent through Akismet's spam flagging system. It's internal process determines when a post is flagged, moderators will then approve anything that is flags improperly. This has cut the forum spam to almost nothing and is a vast improvement before we implemented their service.

Totally understood. Something in that particular post must have caused it to be flagged, as I just posted something to that forum the previous day. So although its obviously not foolproof as "legitimate" posts are being blocked, I guess it is well worth the reduction of spam that you guys have experienced.
