Question Remote Sort, Remote Group, Remote Paging events.

    Good Morning,

I have a question regarding different events that I can attach to. I want to basically add a different value for a certain request parameter to my AJAX requests so that my backend knows if I am sorting/paging/grouping/etc.

So far I figured out that I can attach to 'beforechange' / 'change' for the Ext.PagingToolbar.

I see that both GroupingStore and EditorGridPanel have a 'groupchange' event (which is weird that they both have it?) but I need a 'beforegroupchange' I suppose? Ditto with the 'sortchange' event.

I know that I can attach to the 'beforeload' event but then I don't know what action I am coming from. Is this a bizarre idea? Any thoughts?

    Thanks,
    Tim

Check the docs on baseParams and the setBaseParam() method for the data store
Scope = Perspective (think like an object)

I understand how to use baseParams but there isn't anywhere in the event structure to apply the parameter. Thinking back though I have to work with grouping and sorting together so I guess this is not an issue. Thanks for the reply though.
