    Default combobox support for list display

    Is there a way to take a "select" tag and use EXT combobox and maintaint it's properities of size 4 or grater?

    I tried and it converts the element to a dropdown. I looked in the combobox api but it's not clear if this is supported I tried searching on the forum with little luck as well.

    If this functionality is not supported are there any suggestions?

    Here is some code i used:

    PHP Code:
    <select  size="4" name="list1" multiple="multiple">
        <
    option value="1">AAAA</option>
        <
    option value="2">BBBB</option>
        <
    option value="3">CCCC</option>
        <
    option value="4">DDDD</option>
        <
    option value="5">EEEE</option>
    </
    select
    PHP Code:
    function setupAdvanceSearch() {

    Ext.QuickTips.init();

    Ext.form.Field.prototype.msgTarget 'side';
        new
    Ext.form.ComboBox({typeAheadtrue,

    triggerAction'all',

    transform:'list1',

    width:200,

    maxLength4,

    forceSelection:true

    });

    Thanks in advance for any help.

    This is exactly what I was looking for too. I'd love to have a panel with two multi select boxes, and a copy button in between, to make a selection.

    Ah yess, with drag'n drop support

    But there's no multiple select widget, is there?

    I have written both a Multiselect and an ItemSelector (two multiselects with drag-drop, copy etc). I'll try make them publicly available Ext.ux components soon.

    Wauw, thanks! I've spent some time exploring the Dropcombo which uses TriggerField(s), but if you come up with a complete solution I'd love it

    If you need a helping hand, contact me!
