Default [FIXED-338] textareas scroll on Android but not iOS

When a textarea contains too much text to display at once, it needs to be scrollable. On Android, at least sometimes, it is; even if the textarea isn't configured with "scroll: 'vertical'", when I tap it and the keyboard pops up on my Nexus One, the textarea is vertically scrollable. (This happens in my own app. It doesn't happen in the "Bio" field of the Kitchen Sink app, and I don't know why not.) But on iOS devices, both the simulator and my iPod Touch, trying to scroll the textarea merely scrolls the whole screen. (Even if the screen is filled by a panel configured with "scroll: false", it becomes scrollable when the keyboard pops up.) This happens regardless of the scroll config of the textarea or the panel filling the screen.

Yep.. I am also having problems with textareas where the text is longer than the textarea on iPhone

The cursor continues outside (below) the control but the text is invisible and you are unable to scroll to the end of it inorder to view/edit it.

    Works fine in Chrome.

I am having the same issue when typing into a textarea of an iPhone that it simply continues below the textarea with the overflow being hidden. However, I can scroll the field. On iPhone it's one finger to scroll the whole page and two fingers to scroll the textarea.

Appears to be fixed in the most recent release.

    Default Definitely not fixed

This is definitely not fixed. It may have been at one time but is definitely not fixed in 1.0.1. You can see the problem in the kitchen sink basic form example. If you scroll the form at all, it will force the textarea to stay scrolled to the top and as you type it starts to go behind the box instead of scrolling the textarea down as you type. This seems to only be an issue when you have the containing panel scrolled down.

    Question Bug still exist

This bug still exists in iOS both iPad and iPhone. The kitchen sink has this issue too. Also there is a bug that the text copy and pasting does not work.
Can you please let me know if you are going to fix this bug any time soon. Also can someone advice me on any workaround?

Also facing this issue. Bug is not fixed. I'll circle back if I come up with a workaround.
