    Default Events in Sencha Touch

    I'm coming from GXT where all my UI components just fire events. While this works well for me on the desktop browser, I'm concerned about the overhead for mobile devices.

    In general, is it more memory intensive to fire and listen for my own custom events to handle user input ?

    That's exactly how i develop my apps. :-\
