[FIXED-554] Android keyboard hides text field, does not scroll up like native
Go to Kitchen Sink, Forms, don't scroll the page up but clock on Bio. The Android keyboard covers the text field and the page does not scroll upward so the user can see what they're entering.
However, if you try this behavior with any plain old web form, the native Android behavior is to scroll up so the text field is in view.
This problem is much more pronounced in landscape mode since the Android keyboard takes up so much of the screen.

I can say this have been a known issue for quite a while.
The major problem we are having with forms or Android is Scroller and auto adjustment of window scroll can't live in harmony. It's kind of one or another at the moment.
It took lots of works to have forms on iOS behave beautifully as they are right now, and it's my mission to achieve the same on Androids.Sencha Touch Lead Architect

This has been partially resolved in 1.0.1. Please let me know if it does improve.Sencha Touch Lead Architect

In my app, on androids, the screen jumps up and down on each keyup event when typing in a text field that has an ext.util.scroller on the surrounding panels.

Yes, I have same problem
I find this is only a problem but only in some cases - I am trying to find out what it is that is causing this but I have found that turning on -webkit-backface-visibility and using an actionsheet is useful

Why marked as fixed?
Hi, I'm having this problem and I've not seen any fix in this thread. Can anyone tell me what to do to prevent this behavior ? (if any)

I also have the same problem on Android 2.3.3 (Build GINGERBREAD.XWJVI):
Above a toolbar, I have a card layout with several cards, each containing a vbox layout with 2 scrollable areas. On the lower area there's a textform. When tapping it, the Android virtual keyboards pops up and it hides my bottom toolbar and most parts of the textarea, which isn't really convenient.
The interesting thing is: This doesn't happen on card 1, there everything works fine, the keyboard pops up and everything - including the toolbar - is moved upwards, so the keyboard is below all gui elements.
From card 2 on the error occurs, so my assumption is, that there's a problem with the card layout and the Android virtual keyboard.
Maybe someone from the developers can confirm this? Will this behaviour be fixed in Sencha Touch 2? Is there any workaround for my setup?
