    Default [OPEN-561] 1.0 Placeholder Text not removed on android when orientation changes

    Sencha Touch version tested:
    • 1.0
    • only default ext-all.css




    Platform tested against:
    • Android 2.2


    Description:
    • When selecting a field with placeholder text and changing the orientation, the placeholder text is still contained within the input field.


    Test Case:

    current kitchen sink demo


    Steps to reproduce the problem:
    • On an android 2.2 device, select a field in the kitchen sink form demo with placeholder text and change the orientation from portrait to landscape


    The result that was expected:
    • The input field should be empty


    The result that occurs instead:
    • The placeholder text is in the field
