Thread: Combobox drop down limit

    Default Combobox drop down limit

Anyone know if there is a way to limit the number of items a drop down in the combo box will show? Or even a way to turn the drop down selections off?

The easiest answer would be to limit the number of items you pass to the combobox (either server- or client-side). Barring that solution, assuming you're using a remote data store, would be to use the 'load' event on your combo's store - check the number of records and trim as necessary.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "turn the drop down selections off". Hypothetically you could do that - but then it's just a TextField.
