SASS Compiling Green All the time
I am experimenting with SASS and attempting to change the base colour by changing the following variable:
$base-color: #89181A !default;
in the the _variables.scss file.
Everything compiles perfectly when executing the following "compass compile sass" in Ruby .
The only problem is that the base colour changes to Green when I am attempting to change it to a red (#89181A)
I have tried many different colours and I only get a green. (all be it a very nice green :-) )

Not sure where the green is coming from, as the default value is blue... Keep an eye out on the blog this week, we'll be posting a walkthrough on how to do custom themes (you shouldn't have to edit _variables.scss). Best-

I figured out what I was doing wrong. During my "figuring out how to work with sass" stage I added a green colour to the sencha-touch.scss file.
I made the correct colour change to the sencha-touch.scss file and re compiled and all was good.
