    Default Compass version in ST 1.1.0

    Just wondering what version of Compass Sencha Touch 1.1.0 requires? I can't compile my SCSS anymore after upgrading this morning (inline_image_string is not a method) and I'm running the latest stable build of Compass 0.10.6.

    Am happy to upgrade to 0.11 if required but it seems kinda weird to break compatibility. Unless it's just me...

    Replied on Twitter, but just in case others are looking here: We did upgrade to the .11 beta version of Compass. To install:

    > sudo gem install compass --pre

    Would be nice to mention that in the blog post and release notes.

    After switching to the newest version of compass, my png images do not work. They end up all weird:

    Code:
    .x-tab img.search, .x-button img.x-icon-mask.search {
      -webkit-mask-image: url('data:image/png;base64,PNG

    Any idea what's wrong?

    Nicodemuz, it looks like you need another gem installed. See this thread for the fix (worked for me):

    This stumped me for a while as well. I've had to revert to using the compiled sencha touch css in my app for now so I can get on with things because i'm using rails with haml for the other standard html parts of my app and the new beta version of compass requires the new sass which is now separated from the haml gem... long story short, I couldn't get it all to play together so i'm a bit bummed.

    All respect to you guys for a pretty amazing framework but to require alpha dependencies that can conflict in this way isn't ideal. I'm sure I could jump through some hoops to get things working in a different way but i'd prefer not to. If anyone has some pointers on the best way to get this working in a rails app with haml i'd love to hear it as i'm pretty new to ruby / rails atm.
