    Ext.data.reader.Json's record property says:
    The optional location within the JSON response that the record data itself can be found at. See the JsonReader intro docs for more details. This is not often needed and defaults to undefined.

    But first there is no JsonReader class and second in the reader.Json there is not a word of this.

    Also...

    Ext.grid.Panel's selType and viewType are not documented at all.

    The search bugs mentioned below are fixed in the latest version which I've just uploaded:

    From the documentation of Ext.panel.Panel#buttons (http://docs.sencha.com/ext-js/4-0/#/...-cfg-buttons):

    Code:
    buttons: [
      { text: 'Button 1' }
    ]
    is equivalent to
    Code:
    dockedItems: [{
        xtype: 'toolbar',
        dock: 'bottom',
        defaults: {minWidth: minButtonWidth},
        items: [
            { xtype: 'component', flex: 1 },
            { xtype: 'button', text: 'Button 1' }
        ]
    }]
    This is wrong; The property "ui: 'footer'" is missing in the toolbar's configuration. This example should be:

    Code:
    dockedItems: [{
        xtype: 'toolbar',
        dock: 'bottom',
        defaults: {minWidth: minButtonWidth},
        ui: 'footer',
        items: [
            { xtype: 'component', flex: 1 },
            { xtype: 'button', text: 'Button 1' }
        ]
    }]
    I suppose that the same applies to the fbar config (http://docs.sencha.com/ext-js/4-0/#/...Panel-cfg-fbar)
    Too lazy to add a clever signature

    Initial support for History and Favorites has been added to the live documentation:

    http://docs.sencha.com/ext-js/4-0/

    Please let us know any feedback for these new features. Each of them stores data in Local Storage, falling back to a Memory Store if local storage is not supported. So your history and favorites should persist across browser sessions.

    We're planning on extending this persistance to include scroll position, which members are open (configs, methods etc) and whether or not 'Hide Inherited' is checked in the near future.

    The doc is fully functional now, I really like it. The way you handle the forward/back browser button, the new history and favorites all good things. In the overview tab, the top toolbar tooltip for configs, properties (etc..) is back to a full list with columns instead of scroller. Again, good job. This really gives us access to what we really want quickly.

    The next thing I would really like is to move all the "example" into it's own tab after Overview. Some class (like model, stores) have a lot of example to scroll through.

    Finally, in the search field, a convenient "X" button that clear the search string and put the cursor in the field.

    Default Ext.create returns void?!?

    The docs at http://docs.sencha.com/ext-js/4-0/#/...-method-create indicate that Ext.create returns void.

    Which of course makes absolutely no sense and is completely and totally confusing.

    When you follow the link to the method for which Ext.create is an alias, Ext.ClassManager.instantiate, http://docs.sencha.com/ext-js/4-0/#/...od-instantiate , the docs properly indicate that an Object is returned.

    I am closing this thread due to its length - all the issues raised have been noted.

    I have created 2 new threads, one for reporting bugs on the Docs app itself, and one for reporting bugs / typos on the content of the documentation. Please see:
