    Default Ext.AbstractComponent

    Ext.AbstractComponent - I don't see that methods is() and up() are documented.

    is() misses jsDoc, up() has wrong jsDoc start. That might be the reason.

    Ext.widget is listed as void:

    Actually, it returns the instance of the class if loaded:

    The TableView class is documented as "The grid view..."
    Code:
    /**
     * @class Ext.view.TableView
     * @extends Ext.DataView
     *
     * The grid view binds a store to the underlying html markup of a grid. In most

    Ext.grid.HeaderContainer has the following documentation:

    " * Container which holds headers and is docked at the top or bottom of a TablePanel."
    Code:
    /**
     * @class Ext.grid.HeaderContainer
     * @extends Ext.container.Container
     *
     * Container which holds headers and is docked at the top or bottom of a TablePanel.
     * The HeaderContainer drives resizing/moving/hiding of columns within the TableView.
     * As headers are hidden, moved or resized the headercontainer is responsible for
     * triggering changes within the view.
     *
     * @xtype headercontainer
     */
    Ext.define('Ext.grid.HeaderContainer', {
        extend: 'Ext.container.Container',

    TreePanel doc shows TreeLoader, seems to be old:

    Code:
    var tree = new Ext.tree.TreePanel({
        renderTo: 'tree-div',
        useArrows: true,
        autoScroll: true,
        animate: true,
        enableDD: true,
        containerScroll: true,
        border: false,
        // auto create TreeLoader
        dataUrl: 'get-nodes.php',

    root: {
        nodeType: 'async',
        text: 'Ext JS',
        draggable: false,
        id: 'source'
    }

    });

    tree.getRootNode().expand();

    I'm using Chrome to browse this, and at least once every 5 minutes or so one of the links to another class will bring me to the class of a different URL structure. This does not happen every time, but enough that I have notepad sitting open with the correct url structure so I can copy and paste to fix.

    The correct url appears to be: http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/ext-4.0-beta1/docs/api/...
    The url I'm sometimes sent to: http://dev.sencha.com/new/ext-js/4-0/api/

    I think this mostly happens when I try searching for a class rather than clicking through the tree.
    +1 to this. It's not just searching either. It appears there are some places where that URL is hard coded because it happens with offline docs shipped with the product as well (therefore it can't be a server-side error). For some examples see the explanation link in the doc for Ext.define() or the Ext.ClassManager-instantiate link in the doc for Ext.create().

    Where is documentation of Ext.create, Ext.createWidget, Ext.define etc?

    I think Ext.create is here
    http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/ext-4.0...ponentMgr.html

    but no advice for the shortcut.

    Ext.createWidgets take xtypes i think, there is an overview here (if the aliases are defined with widgets):
    http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/ext-4.0...Component.html

    but no advice for widget

    In general the old docs had an object Ext with all the methods and shortcuts, where is it?

    ah, found it
    http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/ext-4.0...s/api/Ext.html

    but createWidget is missing.

    Default [Beta 2] Cannot open node of left tree in IE 9

    [Beta 2] Cannot open node of left tree in IE 9.

    I suggest you start to use the new Ext JS 4.0 test framework agaist the API doc, regressions are common.
