I mean "really" getting started - add Extjs to website?
I've downloaded and unzipped the Extjs package. There is a very large hierarchy of folders that unzipped, including the /docs/index.html from which I linked to this forum. I do not see anything that explicitly states how or which files in the unzipped folder hierarchy should be added to a new web site. Assuming I have ".../inetpub/wwwroot/MyTestWebsiteForExtjs/" with absolutely nothing in it yet, what do I need to add from Extjs? Do I need to maintain the folder hierarchy that the Extjs files unzip as? Do I copy the whole unzipped file tree? For now, assume I want to add everything in terms of Extjs' components. Help is appreciated!
You can include just these files:
ext-all.js OR ext-all-debug.js [recommended for debugging]
the resources/ folder (though you won't need all those files; for example of all the .css files you'll only need ext-all.css and xtheme-*.css in case you want a theme other than the default one).
Of course, if you also want to have access to the API docs and examples from your own server, you should include the docs/ and examples/ folders too.
Great! That should get me started.
Or build your own of only the components you need:
