Anything like forceFit for the gridPanel?
I have a gridpanel in the center portion of a border layout, in a Viewport. I want the columns of the grid panel to fill the entire width of the page. Previously, I used forceFit, but I can't find this option anymore. Is there an Ext JS 4 equivalent or do I just need to wait for another release?

Try the "flex" column config. It takes an int and sets the columns relative to the sum total of all flex columns. So if you have columns a, b, and c set to flex 1, 2, and 3 - then:
- c will be sized to half the width of the grid (3/6)
- b will be sized to a third the width of the grid (2/6)
- and a the remainder (1/6)

just wrote the same answer for jay in the bugs-forum
i had the same problem with forceFit. after looking deeper into the api docs and sources, i realized that this config is no longer a config of the GridView, but of Ext.grid.Panel (to be more precise: Ext.panel.Table).
