    Not Found

The requested URL /deploy/ext-4.0-beta3/docs/guide/api/Ext.app.Application.html was not found on this server.

Were you trying to get to the Application API? Seems the linking is acting funky so for now you may have to go to the index and click from there. I have reported the linking from an earlier post. Sorry!

    Hi Mitchell,

i figured it out: as soon as you open one guide article, which is quite common since they are linked on the starting page of the api docs, the link changes from

    http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/ext-4.0-beta3/docs/

    to

    http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/ext-4.0-beta3/docs/guide/

If you click on the classes inside the tree on the left, the /guide keeps staying inside the url, so you get

    http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/ext-4.0-beta3/docs/guide/api/Ext.app.Application.html

    for all classes.

    best regards

Default Architecture & MVC Guide needs a *little* more

First, good work with the guides. I appreciate them being integrated into the API docs. Much better than what we currently have with non-API info for the previous releases scattered all over. Hopefully, they'll be more easily updated and kept in sync as the API evolves.

    A couple suggestions:

    • The Architecture & MVC guide needs to include the contents of the example index.html file and direction on where the ext files themselves should go.
    • Shouldn't the MVC examples follow the same code structure and directory layout as the MVC guide?

Keep up the progress. I see light in the tunnel!

Thank you for the feedback. Nick has been doing a fantastic job! I will pass along your suggestions. The guides are pretty basic right now but will be better as time goes on. More to come from the API Docs... think we need a new name for it

the app section is heavy underdocumented.
    Look to this especially:
    http://dev.sencha.com/deploy/ext-4.0...ontroller.html
it documents a bit more than nothing
There is a guide, but doc should get introductions and complete references.

True... there are a ton of tickets open for under documentation. I'm sure this will be made a very high priority as documentation is very important to Sencha.

That being said, I will open another ticket for Ext.app.Controller. How much more documentation do you need? You're smart!

    Ticket Num EXTJSIV-1074

    haha
it's because all JsDoc is missing in the class file, but these are all new and important to explore.
Sry sencha, you should set up a rule that no function is allowed to commit without jsDoc

I haven't looked at other guides, but none of the "{@link ...}" snippets in the "Architecture and MVC" guide are being converted to actual links.
