For some reason the latest docs has remove a whole bunch of classes like the Ext.grid.RowEditor
This makes overriding these classes or trying to understand the Ext inner workings a complete nightmare. Please put them back or at least add an option to toggle hidden / private classes on and off.
Where are the docs for RowEditor in Ext JS 3.x? As far as I can remember, that was just an example provided in the \examples\grid folder; I believe it's now called row-editing.js.
The docs I'm referring to are in Ext 4.0.1
If you download the latest Ext version 4.0.1 and compare them with the most up to date online docs, a whole load of stuff seems to be missing
I recommend posting this here:
I can see the RowEditor having a @ignore tag in the 4.0.1 sources. Maybe nick_p has implemented support for this tag in the API Docs application. I assume that this is the intended behavior.
check again, it maybe not lost,
there are many hyperlink ind documentation is wrong, like "-" became "0" or it goes to wrong subfolder, so just check the url,
all api file located in "ext-4.0.0/docs/api/"
I think OP talked about the online version which is always newer than the one included with the release. Furthermore they include a significant number of changes and fixes, both to the content and the application functionality itself. nick_p has done a lot of changes and fixes just recently.
If you are still referring to 4.0.0 you are hopelessly outdated anyway
In the online docs, RowEditor doesn't show up in the search field, nor can you directly link to it

I've posted the issue to the suggested thread
