Question FileUploadField: where do I get the file data?

    Hello all -

I am using FileUploadField in my Ext 3.3.1 application. When I select a file, I see that value="filename.jpg". But how do I get the actual file data to upload?

Apologies if this is a repeat question but I couldn't find the answer in the forum.

    Thanks for your time.

When you submit the form, it will upload.

I do not want to submit a form, because the extjs doesn't give you an option to pass custom headers when you submit a form (and when it is multipart) I want to create a manual request and pass the content in a formData object... but how I can get the .getReaderValue() ?
