Default Unanswered: Tooltip under PDF plugin

    Hello,

i have a problem with a tooltip which does not overlap the pdf which is shown in an iframe:

    adobe-pdf-z-index.jpg

This problem also happens to a message window which will show up centered but under the pdf.

    Used browsers:
Firefox 3.6.20 with Adobe Acrobat PDF Plug-in for Firefox and Netscape 10.1.10
Internet Explorer 8, uses also the Adobe Acrobat PDF Plug-in for Firefox and Netscape 10.1.10

The problem does NOT occur with Google Chrome which does not use the Adobe Plugin, but its own Chrome PDF Viewer.

    Chris

    Default Same problem here

Only exists in IE. Using ExtJS 4.2.3. Tried "Ext.useShims = true;" but that did not fix the problem.

How would you put a shim on a tooltip, or get it to resize or align itself so that it doesn't appear beneath the PDF?

    Default

Adding tooltipType: 'title' to affected elements fixes this, but makes the UI inconsistent if you're using 'title' on some tooltips and 'qtip' on others.
