    we can see the need of us for Ext Designer.

    is it possible the guy that have already developed it, put your code inside, and let's we start to debug, hope we can get a tibco like in extjs.

    tof, maybe add a flash demo could be useful to watch the GUI Builder in actions, other thing good will be has a template repository where the community save/load/watch the layouts/form ect and can use it or modified.

    Default ext GUI Builder

    hi tof,

    I have started using extjs, ext gui builder is coming very handy.
    Just had one question, I am copying and pasting the code like below,
    in a .js file

    Ext.onReady(function(){
    Ext.QuickTips.init();

    var simple = new Ext.FormPanel(
    //putting all the copied code from ext gui builder
    );
    simple.render(document.body);
    });

    then I include the .js file in the html file.

    Is this the correct way or I am missing something.

    Thanks in advance

    Incredible work you have done TOF.

    It would be very nice if under parameters would be only possible parameters for selected item.
    Maybe best method would be, if Ext team would provide some sort of xml definition with methods and properties for each ext element... maybe extracted from ext docs.
    This type of "xml" would be also very helpfull for other IDE products to implement autocomplete (code complete, code assist) functionality.

    Regards,
    Bert

    Bert, an xml file is included in the Ext download titled ext_aptana.xml. An XSL stylesheet could strip some of the comments out. It is pretty big though.

    I just want to say tof, this is looking fantastic. Great Work!

    Thank you Jack.

    Unfotunatelly I cannot find ext_aptana.xml on download page.
    I have also downloaded Ext 2.0 beta 1 ZIP file again and check if this file is included in, but no luck.

    Could you, please, be more specific where this file can be found.

    Thank you in advance
    Bert
