    Code:
    var chart1 = new Ext.chart.Panel({
                style:'background-color:#F00',
                width: '50%',
                height:'100%',
                flex: 1,
                items:
                {
                    cls: 'pie1',
                    theme: 'Demo',
                    store: store1,
                    shadow: false,
                    animate: true,
                    series: [{
                        type: 'pie',
                        field: 'data1',
                      //  showInLegend: true,
                       // highlight: true,
                        label: {
                            field: 'name'
                        }
                    }]
                }
            });

    var panelHaut =  new Ext.Panel({
        width :'100%',
        height :'100%',
        flex :1,
        layout :'hbox',
        items:[chart1]
            });
    i tried this code but the chart is not rendering
    Code:
    var chart1 = new Ext.chart.Chart({
            width: '200',
            height: '200',
            animate: false,
            store: store1,
        series: [{
            type: 'pie',
            field: 'data1',
            label: {
                field: 'name'
            }
        }]
        });

    Why does your panel have height: 100% and width: 100% when you can do fullscreen: true?

    Oh, I think you have to use the fit layout for the panel holding the chart

    Using fit layout will hide the title bar? I'm also looking for a solution for hiding the chart panel's default title bar/tool bar.

    Sorry, I meant that you can't use Ext.chart.Panel. You'll have to make a Ext.Panel with a fit layout and as one of its items have it be a Ext.chart.Chart
