Exclamation Animator demo don't work in Firefox 7

I rushed to your site when you annonced the launch... but none of the demos on your site are working. I tried it with a PC and Firefox 7.0.1 (also with Explorer). Tried again this morning and it still does not work.

I really want to start experimenting but I am wondering why I should download the trial if the demos on your site are not working?

    What's happening?

It doesn't work in Firefox because the CSS is using the -webkit prefix so it will work on Chrome and Safari no problem.

If it does work only in Safari and Chrome... what's the point of developping in HTML 5 animation thinking its cross platform and croos browser? When will Sencha have a version that works on all HTML5 compatible browsers? Firefox is seen as a leader in that field... no?

Chrome and Safari have been on the forefront of HTML5 standard compliance. Firefox will make it in and I would think IE (version depends on which support things)

We are targeting mobile devices specifically (that's why we have mobile phones and tablets all over the place in the marketing page) and in that world FF simply doesn't exist.

Animator is not, for now, a general purpose web animation tool, we have been very careful about not making claims to the contrary. It's designed to build animations and interactive units for mobile devices running modern webkit browsers.

All that said, we are working on broadening the compatibility for future releases.
