We are looking for a programmer with expert knowledge of using the ExtJS library with a MySQL backend for a web-based project.
The project involves a secure login and using a variety of views of a relational MySQL database to allow the user standard CRUD functionality. We prefer PHP but will consider any possibility.
The design of the project was prototyped (in a desktop app) last year and the prototype has been used by an office of four in actual, everyday use since Aug 2006. No design changes and few code changes have been made in the last 6 months, so the 1.0 design spec is pretty well locked. The needed SQL queries are all written, and the logic and code of the prototype is freely available to adapt for this project.
So the goal will be to replicate the behavior of the (mostly) working prototype desktop app in a web-based app.
The views needed for this project correspond pretty much exactly to the demos on the ExtJS pages, so we feel hooking the views up to the MySQL database comprises the bulk of the work.
If you are interested in this opportunity, please email qualifications and links to similar work that you've completed if available to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We have budget approved and want to get started ASAP!
Or, if you could refer or recommend someone, we would greatly appreciate it.
