Thread: Calling reconfigure on a grid with CheckBox model causes additional checkbox columns

    Success! Looks like we've fixed this one. According to our records the fix was applied for EXTJS-4424 in a recent build.

    REQUIRED INFORMATION

    Ext version tested:

    • Ext 4.0.7
    • Ext 4.1-PR1
    Browser versions tested against:
    • FF3.6
    Description:
    • Calling reconfigure on a grid with CheckBox model causes additional checkbox columns
    Steps to reproduce the problem:
    • Create a Grid with the Checkbox Selection Model
    • Call reconfigure on the grid
    • I've tested against the grid-plugin example
    The result that was expected:
    • Reconfiguration should occur while retaining the checkbox column
    The result that occurs instead:
    • An additional checkbox column is added per reconfigure call
    HELPFUL INFORMATION

    Additional CSS used:
    • only default ext-all.css
    Operating System:
    • WinXP

    Looks like it is still happening in 4.1-PR1. Will get this reported!

    Hi,

    An alternative is to call the reconfigure method with the parameter columns :

    PHP Code:
    var columns = [
    ...
    ]

    var 
    grid Ext.create('Ext.grid.Panel', {
    ...
    columnscolumns
    ...
    });

    ...

    grid.reconfigure(storecolumns);
