    Default CheckBox Column

    I was trying to migrate my GXT2 checkbox column. The idea was to have a boolean column, which renders a checkbox to display it's value, and with the ability to change the value using this checkbox. I achieved this using the CheckColumnConfig and addPlugin(checkBoxColumn); which was removed as far as I can see.

    Is there any new, maybe even better alternative for such a column, or do I have to implement this functionality myself?

    It is in SVN, and available from the Sonatype snapshot repo for maven. See com.sencha.gxt.widget.core.client.grid.CheckBoxSelectionModel<M>, which exposes a column config that can be added to the grid's columns.

    A working sample is available at http://staging.sencha.com:8080/examp...e:checkboxgrid

    A snapshot jar can be downloaded from https://oss.sonatype.org/content/rep...7.182418-8.jar

    I think DarekKay meant something different... here's how I replaced my old GXT2 CheckColumnConfig when migrating to GXT3:

    PHP Code:
    MyModel props GWT.create(MyModel.class);

    CheckBoxCell checkBoxCell = new CheckBoxCell();
    checkBoxCell.setReadOnly(true); //needed if you don't want the user to be able to change the checkbox value

    ColumnConfig<MyModelBooleancolumnConfig = new ColumnConfig<MyModelBoolean>(props.propertyName(), 45"My Property");
    columnConfig.setCell(checkBoxCell);
