    One last question. How can I say that the map will take the biggest width (flex: 2) in the code below:

    Code:
    Ext.application({
       launch: function()  {
           Ext.Viewport.add({
               layout: {
                   type: 'hbox',
                   align: 'stretch'
               },

               defaults: {
                   flex: 1
               },
               items: [
                   {

                       html: 'html',
                       style: 'background:lightgray',
    	       flex: 1
                   },
                   map
               ]
           });
       }
    });

    Put 'flex:1' inside your Map component.

    Code:
    Ext.create('Ext.Map', {
        flex: 2
    });
