Default Has this been done, or is this possible in Extjs?

I know that there are state saving mechanisms built into Extjs, but I want to make sure I'm understanding exactly what their limitations are.

What I would like to do is somehow save the state of the Ext app to my database, and then allow the user to resume from that state after logging back in.

I have an app that has a lot of pop in tabs, I'd like for them all to be "as they were" when the user logged out.

    Default

the state management uses providers to save the state.
by default, there is a cookie provider and a local storage provider baked into the framework.

for remote saving, you can look at the community ux:

or create an own proxy fulfilling your needs.
