as described in the title we are currently dealing with a little bit messed up UI of the gridpanel. We have a gridpanel with 6 columns and a selModel of type Ext.selection.CheckboxModel. It works very nice except when in IE8 compatibility view, where the column widths are out of sync with the header widths resulting in a confusing layout. We have a strict xhtml doctype and we use the following meta-tag:
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=8" />
The document mode is indeed IE8 standards but the browser mode is IE8 compatibility view due to Microsoft's default setting for running intranet applications in compatibility mode. So the UI is ok for IE7 & IE8 standards mode but not for IE8 compatibility view resulting in a problem for us as we develop an intranet application and we can't expect all our users the uncheck the box to disable the compatibility view.
Anyone have an idea how to deal with this?
