Default Trying to style my app but can't seem to change a few things

After finally getting compass/sass working on Linux Mint 11 things were looking rosy. Managed to style most of the app, but can't seem to change a few things:

Can't get rid/remove the black borders between toolbars and lists (the black border between top toolbar in nestedlist and the items, the black border at the bottom between the list and the bottom docked toolbar).

Is it possible to style a back or forward button? when applying the same style i use for normal and round buttons, (style: 'border: medium solid #ffff00; style: 'margin: 3px; -webkit-box-shadow: inset 0px -3px 1px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.45), 0px 2px 2px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.25);') the style is only applied to the square part of the button and not the triangular. The same happens when is set the ui to a mixin.

Having a hard time getting the colors of png images and buttons/toolbars/etc. to match. for example #ff00ff in the png image doesn't look the same as #ff00ff of a button.

Can't change the style of buttons unless using the 'style:' while declaring the button (not a biggie, the end result works).

Have you inspected the DOM to see what classes you need to change for the border or looked to see if there is a variable for it?

To style a button, it is recommended to leave the default uis alone and create your own. Look in the _button.scss file to see how the default ones are created. Sometimes it's using the mixing, sometimes not.

Thanks for the info. I can't use all the handy things a browser does because i am developing with phonegap, but i didn't think of checking _button.scss. But i can live with the button styling. The main thing i want to get rid of are the borders in the lists. But i can use the same method and check _lists.scss or a similar file.

tried loading the code into a browser by just pointing chrome to the index.html file, or put the whole directory on the webserver, but it's not rendering...
