    Default Answered: Copy contents from a form and save it as a new row in the grid after minor edits.

    I need to implement copy record functionality in a grid. For that first when I right click on a record in a grid, a 'copy window' must pop up (basically a form)with all the records of the particular grid which is already saved. Then in this record, I need to make some minor changes and save this as a new row of records in the grid. Why I go for this feature is that I don't want my customers to be bored filling all their details again and again.And I believe that copying record would help them a lot. So please help me and my customers at the earliest.

  2. On your save/copy button, you simple get the values and add it into the store.

    Code:
    var values = form.getValues();

    store.add(values);
