    Default Changing phone orientation not redrawing until after rotation complete

    When the phone is rotated, the app rotates fully, with a white gap on the side (or part of the app chopped off), and after the rotation is done, THEN it redraws the app.

    I have this in my main tab panel:

    Code:
    monitorOrientation: true,
    onOrientationChange: function(orientation, w, h)
        {
            if(!Ext.is.iPad)
            {
                    if(orientation == 'portrait')
                {
                    this.tabBar.show();
                }
                else if(orientation == 'landscape')
                {
                    this.tabBar.hide();
                }
                this.componentLayout.childrenChanged = true;
                this.doComponentLayout();
            }
        }
    and my two tab panel pages I also have the following or they dont redraw properly.

    Code:
    monitorOrientation: true,
    onOrientationChange: function(orientation, w, h)
        {
            this.doComponentLayout();
        },

    Is it possible to get Sencha to start the redrawing WHILE its rotating the app, like every other app out there does?

    And shouldnt it be redrawing the panels automatically, instead of me having to manually call doComponentLayout()?

    Default

    Not in ST1. In ST2, the redrawing is finished before the browser is finished orienting.
