This is my complex layout definition:

var twoPaneLayoutConfig = {
north: {
split:false
},
center: {
lightweight: true,
fitToFrame: true
},
south: {}
};

var twoPaneInnerLayoutConfig = {
north: { },
west: {
split:false,
initialSize: 175,
collapsible: true,
split:true,
animate: true
},
center: {
fitToFrame: true,
autoScroll: true
}
}

TwoPaneLayout = function(){
return {
init : function(){
if (jQuery("#auxillary > input[@name='panelTitle']").length > 0) {
twoPaneInnerLayoutConfig.west.title = jQuery("#auxillary > input[@name='panelTitle']")[0].value;
}

if (jQuery("#content > input[@name='panelTitle']").length > 0) {
twoPaneInnerLayoutConfig.center.title = jQuery("#content > form > input[@name='panelTitle']")[0].value;
}

var layout = new Ext.BorderLayout("aspnetForm", twoPaneLayoutConfig);

//layout.monitorWindowResize = true;
layout.beginUpdate();
layout.add('north', new Ext.ContentPanel('header', {fitToFrame:true}));

var innerLayout = new Ext.BorderLayout("middle",twoPaneInnerLayoutConfig);
innerLayout.add('north',new Ext.ContentPanel('pageTitle'));
innerLayout.add('west', new Ext.ContentPanel('auxillary'));

innerLayout.add('center', new Ext.ContentPanel('content'));
layout.add('center', new Ext.NestedLayoutPanel(innerLayout));
layout.add('south', new Ext.ContentPanel('footer'));
layout.endUpdate();
}
};
}();

If the 'content' panel is full then it scrolls ok in IE 7 and FF2 but not at all in IE6. No scroll bars appear, the content just slides behind the 'footer' panel. Have scoured the forums and the API docs and examples but can't get it to work.

Any ideas?
