Default Unanswered: Set emptyText on List

    Hello Everyone,
I am looking for a way to set the emptyText property on a list. I know the property is in the 'config' object of the list, but that's about it. Bascially my question is how do you modify the config property of a view from the controller. I assume it involves using the Ext.apply. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Each item in the config object will get a getter and setter automatically created and you should use the setter to change that value...

    Code:
    list.setEmptyText('No rows around here')

Thanks Mitch ! I used that and found the workaround listed in the forum and it worked like a charm.
