    You can use
    tree.getStyle().setNodeCloseIcon(AbstractImagePrototype)
    tree.getStyle().setNodeOpenIcon(AbstractImagePrototype)
    to set the folder icon. Null will remvoe the icon

    I tried setting the following (in a TreeGrid):

    Code:
    tree.getStyle().setNodeCloseIcon(null);
    tree.getStyle().setNodeOpenIcon(null);
    tree.getStyle().setLeafIcon(null);
    but the default folder icon is still there. I am using GXT 3.0.6 -- any hint?

    I encountered the same thing on GXT 3.0.1. I set the node open/close icons to a 1x1 image (clear.gif that comes with GXT). It is essentially hidden now.
